Club Structure

The basic teaching group is called THE MINNOWS where the main aim is to give non-swimmers basic water confidance and a feeling of moving in water. They then progress to the next stage which teaches them stroke technique water safety and makes them more efficient in moving through water to add greater distance in their swimming. When they can swim at least 50m in three different strokes they then move to the next squad where the stroke is refined and strength is built up this is "D" SQUAD from there to "C" with slightly more work together with starts and turns. The top two groups are decided on ability rather than age where under chief coach a more competative approach is generated.
